About Us

The International Affairs Office (ASSINTER), established in 2005, is focused on fomenting internationalisation of UFPI, through partnerships with foreign institutions, by opening calls and opportunities to the academic community, aiming at developing technical, scientific, artistic, cultural cooperation. By celebrating cooperation agreements with such institutions, ASSINTER seeks to constantly enhance and consolidate students and staff exchange with partner institutions.

It is a subordinate body of the Chancellor’s Office responsible for planning and executing international cooperation guidelines by directly supporting students and staff in defining mobility opportunities, integrating the modalities teaching, research and extension.
